The Houston Nets was established in 2006 with the intent to empower youth through sports, education, and life experiences that allow them to pursue their dreams in a creative and positive environment. We originally began at a park with 8 kids. The Houston Lady Nets launched in 2019 and has now grown to several girls teams totaling over 100 kids. Having won the PREPHOOPS Circuit in 2023 we are now recognized as one of the TOP girls youth basketball organizations in Texas. As we grow, we continue to provide guidance and direction to today's youth. We are an amateur basketball program under DreamWhere, a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization.

Our goal is for every player who comes through our program to be allowed the opportunity to compete at the highest level desired which will ultimately prepare them for success in life. We are intentional about surrounding this generation with role models that will lead them to greatness on and off the basketball court.

Coach Dominique and Coach Eric have a passion for helping youth succeed in all areas of life. They both are encouragers, mentors, and friends to the youth not only in the Houston Nets program but many more who've crossed their paths.
As basketball lovers themselves, they know the challenges youth face trying to compete and prepare for collegiate level sports. With their guidance and training they have assisted the Nets high school graduates with getting accepted into colleges and have been instrumental in many of them receiving scholarships over the years.
Coach Dominique and Coach Eric challenge the youth to do better and be better not only as a basketball team player but also in their personal lives. With their guidance and expertise, the Houston Nets have competed and been successful in local, state and national tournaments. They constantly look for ways to improve and to offer the best experience for the youth.
Because of the professionalism and care that both Coach Dominique and Coach Eric genuinely have for the youth, their bond naturally carries over to the relationships with the parents and guardians. They have created not just a premier basketball program but an extended family culture second to none in the Houston area.
